OBAMA... OBAMAMOBILE!

As campanhas eleitorais nos Estados Unidos pouco têm a ver com as europeias e muito menos com as portuguesas. os candidatos são examinados à lupa pela opinião pública e todo o seu passado (e presente9 é esquadrinhado e avaliado. Torna-se, assim, muito difícil ao candidato ocultar ou não assumir certos actos, ligações ou relações... E se é apanhado a mentir ou a dissimular está feito! Já aconteceu a vários e vai continuar a acontecer. Que o diga Obama... Depois de ver as suas ligações perigosas à indústria do etanol (e aos largos subsídios estatais que recebe...) postas à vista de todos, Obama vê-se a apresentar o automóvel do futuro... o "Obamamobile"!

 

E vê outras velhas relações pouco recomendáveis (nascidas e forjadas no seu escritório de advogado e que de "profissionais" passaram rapidamente a "políticas") estampadas nos jornais, sites e blogs...

Obama appears to have blatantly lied about Rezko

As a state senator, Barack Obama wrote letters to city and state officials supporting his political patron Tony Rezko's successful bid to get more than $14 million from taxpayers to build apartments...

...Obama's letters, written nearly nine years ago, for the first time show the Democratic presidential hopeful did a political favor for Rezko -- a longtime friend, campaign fund-raiser and client of the law firm where Obama worked -- who was indicted last fall on federal charges that accuse him of demanding kickbacks from companies seeking state business under Gov. Blagojevich...

Rezko’s eye for scouting political talent was amazing, but he did not capitalize on Obama’s influence. Obama said he had known Rezko for twenty years and "he had never asked me for anything. I’ve never done any favors for him." ...The reality is that all politicians have connections to people like Rezko. What matters is whether they acquiesce to the demands of such donors or serve the public good.

The case of the missing birth certificate

Israeli Insider magazine (via American Thinker and Larwyn) reports that Barack Obama's "Certificate of Live Birth" is phony.

Janice Okubo, Director of Communications of the State of Hawaii Department of Health, told Israel Insider: "At this time there are no circumstances in which the State of Hawaii Department of Health would issue a birth certification or certification of live birth only electronically." And, she added, "In the State of Hawaii all certified copies of certificates of live birth have the embossed seal and registrar signature on the back of the document."

Be that as may, there's something I'm still wondering about.
It's the "June 6, 2007" date that bled through the back of the document.
